Hagerman Lake is located along the Wisconsin/Michigan border, and is known as one of the best lakes in all of Iron County. We are about 8 miles from the cities of Iron River and Stambaugh, close to winter skiing, summer golfing, great museums, fine eating, and year-around fishing.
This 585-acre lake’s maximum depth is 54 feet, making it a great fishing spot with its populations of walleye, northern pike and tasty bluegill.
We welcome you to visit our area and our lake, but please, use our boatwash for both your boat and trailer, and help us preserve this beautiful lake for future generations
Of the 29 lakes in Michigan called “Loon Lake” only 4 have nesting loon families. The loon population is increasing, and we have a thriving family right here on Hagerman!
HLPOA has joined the Michigan Loon Preservation Association in support of the welfare of these beautiful birds.
